Huawei P30 Lite Vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: Differences Between Them

Huawei-P30-Lite-Vs-Redmi-Note-7-Pro-Differences-Between-Them

Huawei’s newly released mid-range P30 Lite will compete directly with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is one of the most popular smartphones in this category.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 48-megapixel rear camera, while the P30 Lite has a triple-camera setup. Although the Huawei P30 Lite has a bigger display, on the other end, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a powerful 675 chip. Let’s take a closer look at Huawei P30 Lite vs Redmi Note 7 Pro in terms of price, requirements, and features and analyze what are the differences between these two.

Design and Display

When it comes to display and design, they both share a front panel design of almost identical display sizes, the same could have been saying for their backs.

The Huawei P30 Lite comes up with a bigger 6.15-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2312 pixels, while the Redmi Note 7 Pro seems to have a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2340x1080p. Both phones have a notch in the form of a drop, and also Full HD + resolution. Despite their resemblance, the Redmi Note 7 has a larger screen than the P30 Lite.

The fingerprint reader, which is located in the back, and the photographic range, in the top left, in a vertical layout, are both similar. Both Smartphones come with black and blue choices when it comes to colors.

Camera

The Huawei P30 Lite has a triple-camera system on the back, while the Redmi Note 7 Pro is available with a double camera arrangement.

In Huawei P30 Lite Review, we found the set is made up of three sensors: 24 megapixels main with f/1.8 aperture, 8 megapixels Ultra Wide, and 2 megapixels depth sensor. Artificial intelligence (AI) features to enhance picture quality and Portrait Mode is also included on the handset.

The 48MP key Sony IMX586 sensor, which is combined with an f/1.8 aperture lens, drew attention to the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The package also includes a 5 MP camera with AI features and the ability to take pictures with the iconic bokeh effect. In terms of selfies, Huawei’s handset, like the Huawei P30 Pro, makes use of a 32-megapixel camera. In comparison, the Redmi Note 7 has 32 megapixels of front selfie sensor.

Performance and Storage

The phones should do well in daily tasks and light games, according to predictions. Xiaomi and Huawei both have 4GB of RAM, which is a standard feature. The capability is comparable to other closely related releases, such as the Moto G7 Plus and Galaxy A50.

The Huawei P30 Lite is available with 4GB or 6GB RAM and a single 128GB storage space model. It can be expanded to 512GB of memory using a microSD card. The Redmi Note 7 Pro also comes in 4GB and 8GB RAM variants, with 64GB and 128Gb of onboard storage, respectively. A microSD card can be used to expand the memory of the phone up to 256GB.

Although they can provide the same output, the difference is due to the processor. The Snapdragon 660, a Qualcomm octa-core chipset with a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz, is used in the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Kirin 710, a Huawei unit with a similar amount of cores and maximum speed, is used in the Huawei P30 Lite.

The Huawei P30 Lite is better for those who want a ton of space on their devices, as it has 128 GB of storage, which is more than the Redmi Note 7’s 64 GB.

Battery

Both android phones have a USB Type-C port and allow fast charging. The charging process, however, is different for each unit, as are the battery strengths.

The Redmi Note 7’s battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh and supports 18W superfast charging, it favors autonomy. According to Xiaomi, the device is capable of playing videos for up to 13 hours. The P30 Lite has a 3,340 mAh battery and in our Huawei P30 Lite review, it lasts an entire day without needing to be recharged.

Software
Both phones have Android 9 (Pie) enabled. The variation is because of the system’s functionality: while the Huawei P30 Lite comes with EMUI 9.0, the Redmi Note 7 arrives with MIUI 10.

As a result, all software packages contain the respective manufacturer’s design and services.
