Leaders Reach Deal on COVID-19 Relief Package, Government Funding Bill

Congress still faces a government shutdown deadline at midnight and it is unclear if Congress will vote before the deadline.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Sunday evening that leadership from both chambers have reached a deal on the COVID-19 relief package and government funding bill. The “major rescue package for the American people” will be near $900 billion.
